Put your Innovation into action at Coral
Share your ideas and watch them grow. Your perspective is an important part of our student success. Our teachers create initiatives that consistently yield high student engagement and growth each year. Ask about Coral Creates STEAM.
Collaborate
We provide regular opportunities to analyze, plan, and support each other. Each week, our boys and girls academy directors lead student support discussions and action planning. Two times per month, PLC (professional learning community) topics are analyzed. Each month, one full day of collaboration takes place so we can review our goals and spend time refocusing and strengthening student support.
Employee Benefits
Just like district and other public school employees, you will contribute to ERB (retirement) and have the same health insurance options. We provide additional benefits including free of charge social emotional support with Outcomes, Inc.; optional pre-tax 457B contribution; and optional AFLAC gap coverage.
Employee Contracts
Work days begin at 7:50 am end at 2:40 pm. Daily class start time for students is 8:00 am and dismissal time is 2:30 pm. Our school calendar kicks off with two paid days of structured orientation, preparation and training. Our school year begins in early August and ends in late May. All employees are paid twice a month by direct deposit for a total of 24 pay dates per calendar year. We offer a higher pay rate than other local districts. Click here to view our salary schedules. Our Leadership Team welcomes innovative ideas and fresh solutions for students support. New initiatives often lead to increased compensation!
