Ms. Lori Bachman

Ms. Lori Bachman has her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She has 13 years of teaching experience in Pre-K to 8th grade in places including Hawaii, Saipan, Kuwait and Albuquerque. She also served as instructional coach for 3 years and as an educational leader for 25 years at the school, district and state levels, beginning in 2001. Her work includes 3 years as Director of a non-profit advocacy organization. While working for the state, she supported the Secretary of Education in implementing education reform in New Mexico. She has been the Executive Director at Coral Community Charter School since 2017. Ms. Bachman’s favorite hobby is cooking.

Mrs. Heather Sickenger

Mrs. Heather Sickenger has her Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders. Her teaching career began in 1994, in grades K – 8th in subject areas including Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Math. She has taught at Taylor Middle School, 21st Century Public Academy, and Coral Community Charter School. Ms. Sickenger is one of the co-founders of Coral Community Charter School. She has served as District Test Coordinator since 2013. Mrs. Sickenger loves to exercise, garden, cook, read, and travel. She is designated as a Highly Effective Teacher in New Mexico.

Mr. Reid Nunn is very happily married to his wife Kay, and has two wonderful children - Jack and Cora. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in K – 8th grade Education, and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Mr. Nunn has been teaching since 1997, including 6th grade at Carlos Gilbert Elementary; 4th & 5th grades at Santa Fe McCollum Elementary; and 3rd – 7th grades at Coral Community Charter School. Mr. Nunn is one of the co-founders of Coral Community Charter School. He was previously a Juvenile Correction Officer, has his third-degree black belt in Hapkido, and likes to wear shorts.

Mrs. Sasha Sanchez

Mrs. Sasha Sanchez has her Bachelor of Arts in University Studies and Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico. She has homeschooled her own children. Mrs. Sanchez loves to read, garden, camp, snowboard, travel, and exercise.

Mrs. Katy Sanchez

Mrs. Katy Sanchez graduated Suma Cum Lade with her Bachelor of Science degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with Business, and also achieved her Masters of Education degree in Pedagogy & Learning with Educational Technology. She has been the Chief Financial Officer for Coral Community Charter School since 2020, and served on committees with the New Mexico Association of Business Managers. Mrs. Sanchez has been in this field since 2016, and previously was the Physical Educational Teacher at CCCS for Pre-K – 7th grade. Some of her other experiences include: Pre-K Teacher, Pre-K Corporate Assistant, Kids Ministry Program Director, Chiropractic Assistant, and Marketing Coordinator. She enjoys fitness, sports, and nature's beauty.

Ms. Emma Sewell (she/her/hers)

Ms. Sewell has been working in charter schools since 2021. She graduated from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. She is currently attending the University of Nevada-Las Vegas for her Master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy. She loves walking her dog, cooking, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Hannah Force-Lang
Director, Family, & School Operations

Mrs. Hannah Force-Lang graduated Phi Theta Kappa with her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Multicultural Education, Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management, and earned her School Business Official Level I License. Hannah served as a School Business Official and has also earned certificates in Early Childhood Program Administration, Child Development, Health, Wellness & Public Safety, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, General Business, and National Administrator Credential. She also is certified to serve as a Chief Procurement Officer.
Mrs. Force-Lang has been in education since 2007, and in school administration since 2015. Some of her other experience took place in Preschool and includes: Assistant Cook, Assistant Teacher, Teacher, Receptionist, Assistant Director, Director, and Children's Ministry. Mrs. Force-Lang joined the Coral Community Charter School team in 2026. She enjoys swimming, exploring nature, learning about history, and spending time with family.

Mrs. Nayamin Cisneros
Food Manager

Mrs. Cisneros received her Ministerial License from Trinity Life Bible College in 2004 and has dedicated many years to ministry and community service. She served for 8 years at Casa Del Rey Church in multiple leadership roles, including Pastoral Care Director, Administrative Assistant, and Assistant Director of the Junior High and Young Adults Ministry.
She has also served as Program Assistant for Zia Family Focus Center and as Executive Director of the Coral Foundation for Excellence in Education. She has been the Food Services Manager at Coral Community since 2019. As of 2025, she is the school's Registrar.
She holds Associate Degrees in Human Services and Applied Science and is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health. She is certified in Food Handling and Food Management and has volunteered with the New Mexico Dream Center, supporting human trafficking survivors. She has also participated in missionary work in Mexico, Panama, South Korea, and across the United States.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and serving others.

Ms. Kelly Bailey

Ms. Kelly Bailey has been in the education field since 2014. Her roles have included Pre-K Teacher for the New Mexico State Pre-K Program, Lead Teacher in the private preschool setting, as well as support staff in various areas. She is passionate about education and the impact it has on children and families. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and family adventures with her husband and their two sons.

Ms. Jacquie Gonzalez
Front Desk Receptionist

Ms. Jacquie Gonzalez is very excited to join the Coral Community Charter School in her new position as Front Desk Receptionist. She earned her Liberal Arts degree from CNM in 2009.
She brings over 31 years of experience in the physical therapy field, including front desk operations, clinic management, billing and collections, and patient care. Through this work, she discovered her passion for patient care and realized that it does not have to be limited to a rehabilitation environment. She hopes to continue her education and pursue licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2026 as Front Desk Receptionist.
In her free time, Jacquie enjoys spending quality time with her mother, for whom she is also a caregiver. She is a Polynesian dancer and enjoys learning more about her Hawaiian heritage through dance and ʻŌlelo (the Hawaiian language), as well as sharing her knowledge of hula with her students. She also enjoys reading, traveling to spend time with family and friends, and appreciating God’s creation on a daily basis.

Mr. Salmineo Sena

Mr. Sena began working at Coral Community Charter School in 2022. His career in facilities management is extensive, and he began working in the maintenance field in 2006. Mr. Sena is Coral Community Charter School's Food Service Manager and Maintenance Manager.

Ms. María Nieves Bascur

Ms. María Nieves Bascur has her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood from ages 3 to 8 and graduated with honors. She also has her Master's degree in Special Education, with a focus in Gifted and Talented Education. Ms. Bascur has been teaching in Pre-K since 2004, and was an Assistant Director at the Children Learning Center. She is always smiling and punctual.

Ms. Elena Munoz

Ms. Elena Munoz is pursuing her Associates in Early Childhood Multicultural Education, and has been teaching at Coral Community Charter School since 2018. Prior to joining our team, she began her career in early childhood education in 2012. She is very patient, thoughtful, and loves to work with children. Ms. Munoz is married and has two children of her own and enjoys crafting and baking.

Ms. Litzy Salinas

Ms. Salinas, is excited to be a part of this amazing team! She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2025. She has experience working with children since 2023. She is currently pursuing her nursing degree, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others, especially through care, support, and education.

Mrs. Brittany Ocheltree
K/1 Boys Cohort Teacher

Mrs. Brittany Ocheltree graduated Cum Laude from UNM with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Her experience includes PE and swim instruction. She started working in education in 2012. She has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from WNMU, graduating with high honors. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2019. Mrs. Ocheltree taught Pre-K Girls at Coral Community Charter School for 5 years and now has moved to teaching K/1 Boys as of 2025. She is a mom to a spunky 4 year old girl, a silly 2 year old boy, and 2 dogs. She loves to travel, be outdoors, and believes there is no such thing as bad pizza.

Ms. Nancy Lowell

Ms. Lowell graduated from UCLA with an undergraduate degree in Women's Studies, and a master’s degree in elementary education in 2006. She’s been teaching ever since from Pre-K to second grade. She moved to Albuquerque from Denver in 2020 and loves it here! She spent four years teaching first grade at Annunciation Catholic School before transferring to the public sector. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2025. She loves her crazy cats, quilting and playing with fabric, and most of all, she loves teaching!

Ms. Asher Willard
K/1 Girls Cohort Educational Assistant

Ms. Asher Willard started at Coral Community Charter School in 2018. She has worked as Front Desk Receptionist and Educational Assistant. Prior to working at Coral Community Charter School, she began working with children in 2006 in church settings. Ms. Willard loves the atmosphere and sense of community at Coral, but most importantly the bonds she shares with the students, their families, and her fellow co-workers. Ms. Willard’s most important role and job title is being a mother to her five children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, binge watching her favorite shows, and is a die-hard Boston Celtics and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Mrs. Jodie Clarke has her bachelor’s in Physical Education from UNM and her master’s in Instructional Leadership from Wayland Baptist University. Mrs. Clarke has been in education since 2006, working with kindergarten to high school seniors. Prior to joining Coral Community Charter School, she was a coach for 4 years. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2023. She has 3 kids and spends most of her free time at her kids sporting events.

Mrs. Saravahn Simpson

Mrs. Saravahn Simpson was born and raised in New Mexico. She graduated Magna cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico. Mrs. Simpson started working in education in 2016. She taught in Los Lunas her first five years; 3rd grade for two years and 1st grade for three years. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2024. She loves to read, spend time with her family and friends, and travel.

Mrs. Angelica Clayton

Mrs. Angelica Clayton has been a 1st and 2nd grade teacher in New Mexico since 2020. Prior to working in education, she volunteered at her church in Children's Ministry. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. In her downtime, she loves to write, read, go camping and spend time with family.

Ms. Naomi Vijeila

Ms. Naomi Vijeila graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science. After she graduated, she joined Teach for America and moved to Albuquerque to teach independent thinkers and learners in fifth and sixth grade. She started working in education in 2020. Ms. V spent five years in middle school and is now embarking on the fun and exciting journey that is elementary school! She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2025.

Ms. Barbara Brech

Ms. Barbara Brech has her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Relations, and a Master’s Degree in Education. She has multiple years of teaching experience in 1st and 2nd grade and 5 years of Pre-K. Ms. Brech worked at Rio Rancho Public Schools since 2000. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2022. Her service included being a general education teacher, coordinating the Community Involvement Team, and facilitating the school community food pantry. She is currently working on her EdD in Organizational Leadership. Ms. Brech loves to read, hike, travel, and spend time with family.

Ms. Jessica Schiffman

Ms. Schiffman has had the joy of being part of Coral Community Charter School since 2003. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in University Studies with a focus in Business Administration and Elementary Education, and is currently working toward a Master’s in Educational Technologies. She is passionate about supporting young learners as they grow both academically and personally. She strives to create a nurturing and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence. She joined Coral Community Charter School in 2014. She also volunteers with Girl Scouts and the school's PTA. Outside of the classroom, she loves spending quality time with my family. Whether we’re traveling, playing board games, or planning fun theme dinner nights, she cherishes every moment. She is also an avid reader and always has a good book nearby.

Mrs. Melissa Vasquez

Mrs. Melissa Vasquez has her Bachelor of Science degree in Middle School Education, and has been a teacher since 2003. She grew up in the Midwest, but has loved calling New Mexico home since 2008. Mrs. Vasquez joined Coral Community Charter School in 2024. She loves the St. Louis Cardinals, camping, books, cooking, and of course spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Melanie LaBonte

Mrs. Melanie LaBonte has her master's degree in Elementary Education. Her teaching career began in 2023, when she started teaching second grade in central Washington state. Prior to teaching, she was a substitute teacher of students Pre-K through high school and a Children's Church Director for many years. Mrs. LaBonte is the proud mom of young adult twin sons and a teenage daughter and is married to a local family life pastor. She loves jogging to 80's music, having coffee chats with friends, watching any British time period show, and spending time with her family. She is loving being a new transplant to the state of New Mexico.

Mrs. Jenny Rose Tomboc

Mrs. Jenny Rose Tomboc holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is a dedicated and passionate educator with experience teaching learners across all levels, from Kindergarten to University. She started working in education in 2013. She was an online ESL teacher for 4 years and was an English teacher in Vietnam for 7 years. She has taught in Vietnam and Albuquerque, gaining valuable experience in diverse and multicultural classroom environments. Mrs. Tomboc joined Coral Community Charter School in 2026. She served as a volunteer teacher in the community and as a Sunday school teacher at church. She is a book lover with interests in traveling, cooking, and playing sports.

Mr. Kevin Urban

Mr. Kevin Urban is working on his Associates in Biology at CNM, and holds a New Mexico Public Education Educational Assistant license. Mr. Urban joined Coral Community Charter School in 2019. He has spent a lot of time in the past working with students at Coral Community Charter School while substitute teaching in different classrooms from Pre-K through 6th grade. Mr. Urban has experience as a lifeguard and serving food in the restaurant industry. He formerly held the title of all district and state high school soccer player, and he loves to garden, backpack, animals and sports.

Carlos Hurtado

Mr. Hurtado has teaching experience as a Special education teacher in both Arizona and New Mexico since 2012. He served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps and is a combat veteran. He joined Coral Community Charter School in 2025. He has a master's in special education from the University of Phoenix. He is pursuing an Educational Specialist degree as an Educational Diagnostician from Northwest Missouri State University.

Amor Quiohilag

Mrs. Amor Quiohilag is a cultural exchange teacher and proudly shares her rich Philippine culture and traditions with her New Mexican pupils. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Arts, and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She is a certified teacher in the Philippines, New Zealand, Canada, and New Mexico. She has been teaching since 2005 from Pre K to High School and has been a directress of a Preschool that she and her supportive husband built. She loves organizing charity works, enjoys travel and nature, and values family time.

Novae Lira-Pérez (Novae, they)

Mx. Novae Lira-Pérez, originally from Wyoming, moved to Albuquerque in 2016 to complete the American Studies Master's program at UNM (graduated in 2020). Mx. Novae worked primarily as a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Educational Assistant in K-12 charter schools in the International District area since 2019. Novae is a parent to a fiery 4-year-old Sagittarius, they are also a business owner, private language tutor, and yoga and meditation teacher. Novae deeply enjoys spending 1:1 time with loved ones, long solo walks/hikes, swimming, bodywork material of any kind, reading, dabbling in performance arts and writing.

Ms. Montana Sanchez

Ms. Sanchez is excited to be working at Coral Community Charter School. She joined the school in 2025. Ms. Sanchez has been working with children since 2016. She is a student at UNM working to get her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with family and friends, go to baseball games, and watch her shows. She hopes to make a great impression with the kiddos and have fun learning with them.

Mr. Walter Sanchez
IEP Specialist

Mr. Sanchez has been blessed to teach Special Education in New Mexico since 2005. His family enjoys traveling, especially to Colorado and Idaho whenever they have the opportunity.
Outside of the classroom, he is involved in coaching basketball. He has spent the past 29 years coaching and officiating high school basketball, and is currently serving as Vice President of the New Mexico Officials Association as well as the Southwest Commissioner of Officials.
